Biography

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Nuri Erdem was born in 1977 in Tokat. He completed his primary and secondary education in Tokat.

He started his medical education at Istanbul University  Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1996 and graduated in 2002.

Between 2003-2008, at Istanbul Bilim University Florence Nightingale Hospital, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology as a resident of Prof. Dr. Azmi Hamzaoğlu.

After his military service, he fullfilled his compulsory service at Batman Regional State Hospital between 2009-2011.

After working in various private hospitals in Istanbul, he started working in his own clinic since 2018.

In the same year, he was appointed as a lecturer at Işık University Vocational School of Health.

He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2019.

Mehmet Nuri Erdem, who specializes in Spine Diseases and Spine Surgery as well as Orthopedics and Traumatology, is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology and the Turkish Spine Association.

He deals with scoliosis, kyphosis, herniated disc, degenerative diseases of the spine and tumors and traumas of the spine as well as joint diseases, hip and knee calcifications, prosthetic surgery and arthroscopic interventions.

He has statements at many international and national congresses and articles in various scientific journals.

He has been working and accepting patients in his clinic in Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul.
